■ Electronics : Simple clock & thermometer with PIC16F876A and DS1307 and LM35 temperature sensor, we will have an 16x2 LCD display which will display the temperature and current time and set time. We will use few push buttons to set the time whenever required. The current time will be kept in track using the DS1307 RTC module and we will use I2C communication to get these values from the RTC module.The PIC16F876A programmed in C with C CCS Compiler, schematic and simulation with Proteus 8 and mounted on the breadboard step by step.
► The program after initializing LCD and DS1307 test a SET button in infinity loop to set the date and time, the external interrupt (in RB0) is enabled and connected to SQW/OUT pin of DS1307 configured to put square wave output of 1Hz (every second)
► The Interrupt program get the date and time from DS1307 and read the temperature from LM35 and show all on LCD display
