More classic lorry sights & sounds in the UK | ERF, Scania & other lorries | Midway Truck Stop

Various classic lorries drove over to the Midway Truck Stop recently for an informal gathering of lorry enthusiasts, so we headed over to take a look. Volvos were well represented, as was the ERF marque with several examples of this Sandbach-built vehicle from the 1970s & 1980s arriving in the lorry parking area. Scanias were also in attendance. In this video, footage of the lorries turning up (and later leaving) is joined by my walkaround look at their condition, liveries (more signwriting!!) and general features. If you like old lorries, classic British lorries in particular, I hope this video will meet with approval. The sounds of the early 1970s ERF, and the V8 Scania, shouldn't be missed.
To be alerted to future meets at this truck stop here in the UK near Whitchurch in Shropshire, take a look at the Shropshire Trunk Runs & Meets Facebook group. Considering that it was January 2nd when this meet took place, and that it's all very informal, there was a good turnout of classic lorries which hopefully will grow bigger as the better weather (hopefully) arrives before too long.

Also on the video, a brief glimpse of an Austin 7 Ruby, a Marcos, an MGB GT, and we also have a shufty at a Triumph TR250 (US equivalent to the UK TR5), plus a couple of classic British 'bikes.
