LIVE: Flights Cancelled, Millions Without Power as Seoul Faces Heaviest November Snow in 100 Years

South Korea faced a second day of heavy snowfall on Thursday, with at least four reported fatalities, flight cancellations, and ferry suspensions. The snowfall, the third-heaviest on record in Seoul since 1907, brought over 40 cm (16 inches) of snow by 8 a.m., disrupting daily life. This followed a record-breaking snowfall the previous day, which set a new November record. More than 140 flights were cancelled, and weather officials lifted heavy snow warnings in the capital by 10 a.m. The snowstorm also caused fatalities, including one at a golf range where a snow-laden net collapsed, killing one person and injuring two others. Another person died when a protective tent at a car park collapsed under the weight of the snow.
