Homophobia has been rooted in legislation and society throughout history. It is through the education system that we as a society can work to actively combat discrimination in the modern world and to reduce the issues that affect LGBT youth. This talk discusses the importance of destigmatising and normalising different families and homosexuality itself whilst providing discourse on methods through which this can be achieved.
