Eddie Lawson takes his last ever victory, the first for Cagiva, and his first since 1989 in a dramatic wet-dry race that sees the riders gamble on what tyres to use. Polesitter Doug Chandler finishes second, with Randy Mamola in third for what was his final career podium.
