CNBLUE [씨엔블루] - 『ARENA TOUR 2014 ~WAVE~ @ OSAKA-JO HALL』(2023) [Live Video] ft. Jung YongHwa [정용화], Kang MinHyuk [강민혁] & Lee JungShin [이정신]
This exclusive broadcast features footage from the Osaka-jo Hall performance on Thursday, November 6, 2014, of the popular Korean band CNBLUE's "CNBLUE 2014 ARENA TOUR 'WAVE'." The tour was held in support of their new album "WAVE," released in September 2014. The tour kicked off with their first solo performance at the Nippon Budokan, and continued with shows in Osaka, Sendai, Fukuoka, and Nagoya, drawing approximately 100,000 people. Boasting immense popularity as a K-pop band of handsome men, the band is also active as a solo actor. Recently, vocalist Yonghwa took on his first historical role in the Korean drama "The Three Musketeers," earning him acclaim for his growth as an actor. While each member is active in their own fields, they still believe that "live performances" are where they belong.
The rotating "center stage" was featured for the first time since their final indie show, "392." The venue, filled 360 degrees with spectators, was filled with excitement even before the show began, and thunderous cheers erupted when the CNBLUE members appeared. The opening began with a gentle ballad, "Ring." The stage then rotated for the energetic dance number, "Have a Good Night." The members' excitement rose, and the entire venue heated up, with everyone standing and stoking the excitement. Vocalist Yonghwa greeted the audience with a charming, newly acquired Kansai dialect, "Thank you so much for coming to our arena tour." Drummer Minhyuk then commented, "Which is the front of the center stage? There are audience members everywhere, so the sense of unity is amazing!" The second half of the set focused on ballads, including "Y, Why...," the first song Yonghwa wrote, and the English version of "My Miracle," featuring Jonghyun's soft voice and Yonghwa's gentle keyboard playing. Towards the end of the show, Yonghwa shouted "Sorijiro~ (Shout!)" as a signal for them to play upbeat songs like "I'm sorry" and "Lady."
The ending song, "Radio," had the entire venue singing along to the danceable electro sound with a "Whoa Whoa" sound. Yonghwa shouted, "Osaka! Thank you so much!" as he ran freely across the center stage. CNBLUE's live performances are known for their honest, straightforward talk and passionate, aggressive performances.
Don't miss this comfortable stage where the members and fans come together!
