How long does it REALLY take to learn to draw?? Advice from a full-time Illustrator

Описание к видео How long does it REALLY take to learn to draw?? Advice from a full-time Illustrator

Hello friends!! It's here! The video where I answer, possibly, THE most frequently asked question on this art channel!! How long does it honestly take to learn to draw realistically?

And related to that, a bunch of other very common questions, including:
How can you speed up the process of learning to draw?
How can you tell if your art is improving?
What can you do if you feel creatively stuck and unable to make yourself practice?
How to know if you're doing anything wrong or whether you should give up on drawing realistically?

I've definitely struggled with these questions on my own journey to becoming a full-time freelance illustrator so I've put together some concrete tips on how to make the whole art-learning process easier for you and hopefully assure you that you're not alone!

Coming up in my next video is another frequently asked question that naturally follows this one! How long does it take to find clients as a commercial illustrator? If you think you're at that stage in your art, stay tuned!

And as always, if you didn't get a chance to ask your question or if you have a follow up question, leave a comment under this video!
