Our guest surgeon does a great job with this tough cataract case. The patient has an intumescent white cataract and pseudo-exfoliation syndrome. In these types of cases, using the trypan blue dye can really highlight the PXF material on the anterior lens capsule as we have shown in previous cases. This surgeons also elects to place iris hooks to help expand the pupil. The case is completed in a safe and controlled manner and the patient achieves excellent vision.
