LucidSound LS10X Headset Review - Don't be fooled by the price!

Don't be fooled by the price. For a retail price of $60 (US), the performance is incredible. Clear highs, powerful bass, and a shockingly good microphone allows this budget headset to compete with some of the best console gaming headsets on the market.

The LS10X is also surprisingly comfortable, with adequate padding on the ear cups as well as the head band itself. The volume control is a dial on the left ear cup, with a push-to-mute button in the center. When muted, the mic boom has a small red LED that will illuminate (no batteries necessary). No more questioning if you have a hot mic or not. If you don't want the boom mic, it's also detachable. There's even a second mic built into the headset itself if you only need basic chat capability and do not care about the best possible sound.

In short, the LS10X is made extremely well. It's basically identical to the LS10P, which is the Playstation version. The only real difference is the packaging/box. Both the LS10X and LS10P also work with any mobile device with a headphone jack. If you need an affordable gaming/chat headset for console, phone, or even some PCs (single headphone jack for output/input), this is an incredible value.
