Did you accidentally delete an important file? 😱
In this video, I’ll show you how to recover deleted files without any third-party software, using the free Windows File Recovery tool from Microsoft.

🔧 Step 1 – Install Windows File Recovery

Open Microsoft Store

Search for Windows File Recovery

Click Install (it’s free and official)

🖥 Step 2 – Open PowerShell as Administrator
This step is required to run the recovery commands.

💻 Step 3 – Run the Commands
Copy and paste these commands into PowerShell (replace the path with your own):

Extensive Mode (deepest scan)
winfr C: D:\Recovered /extensive /n "\Users\bumsadmin\Desktop\New folder\*.txt"

Segment Mode (faster, good for recent deletions)
winfr C: D:\Recovered /segment /n "\Users\bumsadmin\Desktop\New folder\*.txt"

Regular Mode (quickest, works only if file info is still in MFT)
winfr C: D:\Recovered /regular /n "\Users\bumsadmin\Desktop\New folder\myfile.txt"


📌 Important:

Change the folder path and file name to match your own.

Use /extensive if the file was deleted a long time ago or the drive is damaged.

Use /segment or /regular if it was deleted recently for faster recovery.

✅ After running the commands, check D:\Recovered – your recovered file will be there!
