The Iceland Trip: September 2023

This was our first trip to Iceland. It was a dream holiday for Marta and it did not disappoint either of us! We started in Reykjavik and it’s surrounding areas, including a dip at the Blue Lagoon. We then took to the road for the next two days to see the Golden Circle, including lesser known attractions such as Friðheimar, an incredible family-run tomato farm and restaurant. From there we headed down the southern coast seeing many different wonders, such standing behind Gullfoss waterfall and a hike on Vatnajökull (the largest glacier in Europe).

We highly recommend visiting Iceland if you get the chance, it’s a great country full of great and welcoming people!
