张立，乒乓球明星，世界冠军获得者，1951年生于河南新乡，祖籍山东泰安。张立1964年入河南队，1965年被选入国家队。
是第三十三至三十五届世界乒乓球锦标赛女子团体冠军中国队的主力队员，并获第三十二届女子单打第三名和第三十三、三十四届女子单打亚军及第三十五届女子双打（与张德英合作）冠军。
1978年起，张立曾3次获国家体委颁发的体育运动荣誉奖章。1981年起任国家乒乓球队助理教练、教练。

来自河南新乡的张立，左手直拍快攻打法，攻球速度快，力量大。步伐敏捷。

自1975年以来，她连续参加了三届世界乒乓球锦标赛，连续3次（第三十三届、第三十四届、第三十五届）登上女子团体冠军的领奖台。
在第三十二届世乒赛中，她获得女子单打第3名，第三十三届世乒赛获得女子单打亚军、与梁戈亮合作获得混合双打第3名，第三十四届获得女子单打亚军、与葛新爱合作获得女子双打第3名，第三十五届与张德英合作获女子双打冠军，从1973年至1979年的7年中，多次获得各项比赛的女子单打冠军，并和其他运动员一起，多次获得团体冠军、女子双打冠军和混合双打冠军。
她在参加世界和重大洲际比赛中，共获得金牌26枚，是70年代获得金牌最多的乒乓球明星。张立共获得四次世界冠军。

1979年第三十五届世乒赛之后，张立挂拍了，她与原来的队友李振恃结成终生伴侣。两年后，当李振恃奔赴南斯拉夫参加第36届世乒赛时，他和张立的爱情结晶降临人世。这是李振恃最后一次为国效劳，结果和蔡振华合作夺得男双冠军。
为纪念此役，张立为女儿取名为李南。如今，李振恃一家移居美国。在美国职任过美国国家女队教练。现居加州与家人开乒乓馆培养下一代美国乒乓球选手。


在第33至第35届世乒赛上叱咤风云、4次夺取世界冠军的张立，其形象曾经被印上叙利亚邮票。

1975年第三十三届世乒赛女子团体冠军，女子单打亚军，混合双打季军（与梁戈亮合作）。

1977年第三十四届世乒赛女子团体冠军，女子单打亚军，女子双打季军（与葛新爱合作）。

1979年第三十五届世乒赛女子团体冠军，女子双打冠军（与张德英合作）。

曾3次荣获国家体委颁发的体育运动荣誉奖章。


Zhang Li, Chinese World Champion Table Tennis Star, World Table Tennis Champion Medalist. Born in 1951 in China, He Nan Province. Family origin from China, Shan Dong Province.
Entered He Nan Table Tennis Provincial Team in 1964. Entered Chinese National Table Tennis Team in 1965.
Was the top seed player on the Chinese Team for the 33rd and 35th Table Tennis World Championships.
From 1978, Received Honorary Athlete Award from Chinese National Sports Committee 3 years in a row. Became one of the Chinese National team coaches in 1981.

Zhang Li is a left-handed penhold player. Her returns are fast and strong. Has very good foot work.

She consecutively participated in WTTA Championships for 3 years in a row since 1975. Every year she had her feet on the medal podium.
She has 26 gold medals in total from all Asia and world table tennis tournament events. She had the most gold medals out of all the table tennis players in the 70s. She won 4 World Champion Titles in Total.

After 1979 World Championships, Zhang retired and married Li Zhen Shi. After 2 years she gave birth to Li Nan and immigrated to USA with her family. She was National Team Coach for USA Women's Team for a while.
Now she lives in California with her family, teaching young table tennis stars.

Her image was on a Serbia post stamp after winning 4 World Champion Titles.
