Nearer my God to Thee - Organ

I made this recording in honor of a dear family member, who after many years of fighting, reached the end of her battle with cancer.
This song has long been one of my favorites, and has always struck me as a fitting description of the path of faith and life. Often we begin our lives full of fire, but as we age we get burdened down with the concerns of life. And often our song grows softer. And eventually, we all reach the moment when our strength fails, when our song is barely more then a whisper. But our faith tells us this is not where to story ends. And as we pass to the halls of eternity our song swells, as we behold the glory of god evermore.
