How to Replace front Brakes 2012-2015 Honda Civic + front Calipers. This civic is a 2013
When replacing the front brakes on this Honda Civic I found a ripped caliper boot. we replaced the front calipers as well. The calipers are the same on a 2015-2022 Honda Civic replacing the brakes and calipers with be the same job with the same torque specs.
For this Brake. Normally a brake job is just pads and rotors but this vehicle had a torn dust boot in one of the front calipers. that is not something you want to ignore. If you let it go eventually the caliper would seize up and cause drivability issues such as pull when braking, vibration while driving higher speeds, and uneven or excessive brake ware.
This is an Easy job that you can DIY Do It Yourself.
