Customs officials have arrested Malappuram businessman Rameez in Kerala gold smuggling case. Sources say that Rameez's arrest can be the turning point in the case. He is an accused in a previous gold smuggling case of Karipur in 2014. Sources in the customs department say they have some evidence of their involvement in this case and that he needs to be questioned. Earlier, the two main accused in Kerala gold smuggling case, Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair have been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA)
