BRUSHES: I'll be using this kit of brushes that also comes with an Art sponge and Palette Knife (https://amzn.to/3lYkIi1). I'll be using the brushes as well as the Palette knife for texture on the rock (Optional).


PALETTE: I'll be using my ceramic tile or my Flat Palette (both ideal for palette knife and Q-Tip paintings) (https://amzn.to/3hphD9S), but I used a simple round Palette with pots for years:

(A disposable plate will also do fine. Even better if it's paper/Styrofoam and you can throw it away when you're finished!)
