When to KICK in a Street Fight? | Karate for Self Defense

There are always a lots of "if, then" answers when it comes to martial arts and self defense. Kicks are no different. BUT are kick heavy styles like Taekwondo, Karate, Muay Thai, and more BAD for self defense? Some push Kicks, Side Kicks, Roundhouse kicks are strong and sturdy kicks!
