This song is from an old 1979 wu-xia tv series called "Reincarnated" (or "Bastard Swordsman")... It was very popluar, and the melody of the verse had been borrowed and used in other songs and composition (including a buddhist chant/song). It has also been covered many times, here is my contribution of a steel drum version....
