🌟 AID SuperSTAR Spotlight: Jon Douglas! 🌟

Today, we're celebrating the journey of Jon, an individual whose determination and resilience have led him to accomplish so much. 🏅 Jon was a Special Olympian catcher for his softball team, earning two bronze medals and making it to the International Special Olympics in 1987. ⚾🥉 But his journey didn’t stop there! 💪

Despite managing the challenges of Type 1 Diabetes, Jon has never slowed down. He finds joy in collecting diecast cars 🚗, rocking out to his favorite tunes 🎶, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life, like nature walks with his Case Manager, Melika Sawyer. 🏞️ Jon is incredibly grateful for the help and support he’s received through AID, which has played a pivotal role in making these moments possible. With Melika by his side, he's able to enjoy outings, go shopping, and continue his car collection, all while living life to the fullest. 🌟

Jon’s story is a testament to the power of support, perseverance, and finding joy in the little things. May his journey inspire others to embrace their own path and overcome any obstacles in their way. 🙌
