LED Fog Lights for 2019 2020 2021 Toyota RAV4 and Prime SE - Installation and Review

In this video I install an after market set of fog lights in my 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime SE, with LED 3-color bulbs. I think these lights will also fit 2019 and 2020 RAV4's. Watch as I show you step by step how to open, access, and install all the pieces.

*IMPORTANT MODIFICATION*

One of my viewers (Frank Antonopoulos) commented that he noticed that the fog lights would randomly turn on and off if the switch was left in the "ON" position, even when the car power is off. I confirmed this, and I think the ACC wire for this kit was tapped into a power source that's related to some function in the car that turns itself on and off - like the DC-DC Converter, or something in the charging/state of charge monitoring or control systems. So, to prevent this I moved my switched ACC power connection to the fuse that's marked "Washer" which I assume is for the windshield washer fluid pump or the wipers themselves. Either way, any issue with the fog lights should not interfere with any aspect of the car's normal functions with the engine or EV systems. Thanks to Frank for this great catch!

Other Updates

If you would like to order that switch directly from AliExpress that I mentioned in the video, and it has a nicer feel than the one that came with the kit. It's a little tight but once installed, the push button action feels better. Also, the light in the switch was always on with the original, but the new one only lights up when the fog lights are turned on. I don't have any left, but you can buy directly from AliExpress, but it'll take longer now since it would have to come from China. I'll update here if I decide to restock.
