Rabbi Yaron Reuven emphasizes the importance of structured learning in Judaism. He stresses that learning should be based on a foundation of Torah study, including both written and oral Torah. Rabbi Reuven warns against placing too much emphasis on Kabbalah or other esoteric texts before mastering the basics of Judaism. He also cautions against using resources by questionable authors, even if they contain beautiful or insightful content, as they can potentially lead to misinterpretations or even heresy. He emphasizes that true learning involves understanding the essence of the material and applying it to one's life, not just memorizing words.
