Named “ABU DABI,” this seafront villa in Abu Dhabi is a refined residential masterpiece where coastal atmosphere is deeply woven into the spatial fabric. Even before the Arabian Gulf comes into view, the interior’s palette, textures, and light quietly evoke the rhythm of sea, sand, and horizon.

The project is designed by Madrid-based interior architect Pablo Paniagua, founder of Pablo Paniagua Interiorismo. With a background in art history, Paniagua is known for a design language defined by clarity, restraint, and timeless elegance. In this villa, he both continues and expands his established vocabulary, achieving a delicate balance between simplicity and artistic richness.

Originally conceived as a pure circular volume of concrete and Omani marble, the architecture became the foundation of the interior concept. Omani marble was preserved and extended throughout floors, door frames, and baseboards, allowing architecture and interior design to merge seamlessly.
Classical columns and porticoes lend the space a temple-like sense of ceremony, while European oak paneling and detailing soften the stone’s rigor and introduce warmth and human scale.

At the heart of the villa is a sculptural spiral staircase designed by Gustavo Paniagua, the designer’s brother. Combining Omani marble steps, oak cladding, and hammered bronze handrails, it serves as both circulation and a central art piece connecting the home’s key living spaces.

As the residence of an art-collecting family, the villa was conceived as a calm yet expressive backdrop for artworks and design icons—from modernist masters to contemporary designers—carefully curated to coexist with the architecture.

This project is ultimately a dialogue between coastal landscape, memory, art, and everyday life, where luxury is defined not by excess, but by harmony.
