I am here to talk to you about tipping in Las Vegas – who to tip and how much.

1. Bell Hop – they will store your luggage, take it out of the car, and bring it to your room. Standard tipping is $1-$5 per bag.

2. Casino Hosts – if you are lucky enough to have a casino host, they can do a lot for you, such as comp tickets to restaurants, rooms, events, and shows. Depending on what they do for you, $100-$500 is a good tip.

3. Cocktail Servers/Bartenders/Bussers/Waiters – a lot of restaurants and clubs auto grat 15-20%, so even though these folks get their tips, they will still try to hustle for more. If they surpass your expectations, consider tipping an extra 5-10%.

4. Front Desk – the front desk staff might give you a discount on a better room or upgrade your room if the hotel is not sold out and you give them a $20-$100 tip.

5. Housekeeping – if you destroyed the room, leave a generous tip, anywhere from $5-$20, depending on the condition of the room.

6. Limo / Party Bus Drivers – keep extra money handy for a tip, like $5-$10 for the drivers who bring you to the strip clubs. They are paid a small hourly wage but live off their tips.

7. Restroom Attendants – I always tip these guys; some of them have worked in the restrooms for years. A $2-$3 tip is good each time you go in.

8. Rideshare/Taxis/Shuttles – rideshares provide an option to leave a tip, and taxis allow for tipping via credit cards, but with the high cost of gas and insurance, leave an extra tip if you can.

9. Room Service – room service at most hotels auto grat, but check your bill to make sure, and consider leaving a little extra if they did a great job. If there is no tip on the bill, leave a 15-20% tip.

10. Table Dealers – they get paid a nice hourly rate, but I tip $5-$20, depending on what I won, and if I lose, I don’t usually tip.

11. Valet – when the hotels switched over to paid valet parking, the valet staff hardly get tips and if they do, it’s not much. Keep at least a $5 bill handy. These guys work hard, especially in the desert heat, and they struggle to make ends meet.

12. VIP Hosts – I am a VIP host, and I provide a top-notch experience for my customers. While I do receive a lot of generous tips, I never request or expect them, but appreciate them very much.
