I consider The Channel Islands an easy get-away. The early
Sunday morning drive from my home in LA to the Ventura Harbor is a breeze. From there, the fun begins .... cruising across the Santa Barbara Channel; I'm always alert for dolphin or whale sighting.
Santa Cruz Island was my destination this trip, and I opted to explore the area managed my The Nature Conservancy and join a docent led hike. Many thanks to the friendly strangers who pitched in to shoot this video.
