I was so excited about the IOD Spring Collection that I couldn't stop at just 1 project, in fact, I see myself using these products in most of my future lives. Well, at least until the next release lol.

Paint Inlays are a new product category by IOD and they are unlike anything I've ever used. I absolutely love them! If you follow the steps I've outlined in this video I promise you will love them too! Here are my tried and true steps:
1. Apply a generous coat of paint
2. Apply the Paint Inlay face down (yep, I've done it backward before lol)
3. I use a soft cloth to smooth followed by my brayer THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT. You want to have good contact.
4. Spritz with water and smooth (dab up excess water)
5. Dry with heat gun until the paper appears "white" again
6. Spritz with water (no wait time required); massage water into paper
7. Remove paper.
8. IMPORTANT: seal with spray sealer (I use Rustoleum Matte Sealer https://amzn.to/4c8uPfd)
9. Enjoy!

It's really important to me to show as many steps as possible to help you recreate my projects but when all of my recordings were done there was over 4 hours of recordings. What????
