I ended up finding a mite infestation in Gir's enclosure one night, and the next morning we took him to the vet for treatment, he is currently staying in his old bin cage until he is 100% better. unfortunately i had to throw away all of his toys and bedding, so his enrichment isnt going to be the greatest for awhile.
