Cart Mart has currently 9 locations in the US and Mexico. We sell and distribute just about all the marquee brands available in the market. I started the search for the right dealer management system back in 2008. Wasn't until 2013 that we opened our second store and chose Lightspeed. The reason why we made that decision was because the belief. In Lightspeed's ability to grow with us as we grew, we've been able to integrate all these additional 8 plus locations over the years. Lightspeed really made an impact on our ability to scale the business. And with Lightspeed's multi store functionality has really helped us consolidate our financials and get all of our information from management and senior leadership team. The data that they get out of lightspeed helps them articulate that with me and we can make better decisions for the company.
Scheduling is awesome with Lightspeed. I can keep track of one what my techs are doing when we're getting the job done, and I can also see my inventory, how it's moving and what not.
The efficiency with it has been huge. It's about 20-25% increase year to year. Lightspeed has made my job a lot easier, just gives me the visibility of what's going to get done for the week. With over 16 production technicians throughout all the locations, it'd be literally impossible to try to do it manually. Utilizing the service schedules, we're able to visually look at how busy a location is. If we're busy here at this location, I can see that one of our other Cart Mart locations is available. We can move and deliver cars out there so they can help with getting these carts built out. You're able to just, you know, schedule 60 80 100 carts to get built throughout the location. So, it's a lifesaver.
With Lightspeed’s mobile app our outside techs, they’re able to update everyone in the company with a click of a button. Within lightspeed I can check on what we've done to the customers carts in the previous years, parts service or even conversations we've had. It saves us trying to diagnose something that's completely not right.
Utilizing the dealer parts locator, it helps us, you know, move aged inventory of looking at other dealers and see if they have something you don't have helping other dealers move those parts as well. A win win for everybody that's logged into Lightspeed.
Lightspeed through the inventory management system helps us to really cut down the time that it takes to find the right vehicle. This reporting system through Lightspeed really helps narrow that down for us in actual time.
