As a 9 year old boy, this movie, Beat Street released 40 years ago was a major musical and cultural awakening for me. it was the first time I'd been exposed to hip hop! I bought both volumes of the soundtrack and rented the VHS tapes anytime I could...

Anyway, there were a lot of songs and breakbeats not found on the soundtrack, so I did my best to recreate them with some songs on the soundtrack, hoping that I can do the movie and it's fans some justice. I hope you enjoy this gutter-free mix and it finds you all well... peace and blessings!
