Today, Tom takes a look at a 2008 Maserati Granturismo. If you are not familiar with the Maserati Granturismo, it is one of the smoothest riding high-performance sports cars on the road. While the Granturismo has remained unchanged since 2008, it is an enjoyable car to drive and does not lack in the area of performance or handling.

Power comes from a 4.2 V8 producing 405 horsepower and 377 ft-lbs torque. If the engine seems to have a sound familiar to a Ferrari, it is no coincidence.


0-60 performance comes in at 5.1 seconds, which is not bad for a car that weighs in excess of 4000 pounds. However, tests have shown the Granturismo to make it from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.9 seconds.

When all is said and done, the Granturismo is a sporty, fast, fun and comfortable car with enough cargo space to enjoy a weekend road trip.
