COLANDER POUR - 1ST TIME EVER - AWESOME results!

Описание к видео COLANDER POUR - 1ST TIME EVER - AWESOME results!

I was inspired by ‪@MOLLYSARTISTRY‬ (an amazing pourer! Definitely check out her channel) to try a colander pour, so this is my first ever attempt - full disclosure, it looked nothing like Molly's 😊 but I was still really happy with the results! It's dried so beautifully so I can't wait to resin it because the colours will really pop! Not all firsts turn out this good so I did a bit of a happy dance when this one did!

The products I used in this video are:
1 x colander from a $2 store
Elrado Di Paolo acrylic paint - colours, white, magenta, turquoise and warm blue
Australian Floetrol
MDF board prepared with gesso

▬▬▬▬▬ ABOUT ME & MY ART ▬▬▬▬▬

I’m a abstract artist based in Australia but I was born in Zimbabwe, Africa. I take a lot of inspiration from my homeland and love all things art but in particular abstract art/mixed media. That said, I recently became interested in fluid art as it has so much depth and variety. I began my art journey in fabric where I specialised in making hand made fabrics for interiors but when I moved to Australia I transitioned my fabric work onto canvas. I am an intuituve artist and work more from feeling than structure which means I never really know what I am going to create but I trust the process (even though it can be frustrating sometimes) 😊 I love being creative and feel blessed to be able to share a little of myself with people each time I create. Hopefully in doing this, I provide aspiring artists with the tools, knowledge and the confidence to express their creative gifts with the world and create beautiful art for us all to enjoy! Thank you for your support, without you, I couldn't keep on creating!
