Spaceship Earth - Calm Descent Music Loop - Bruce Broughton (ReRecording)

Epcot´s Spaceship Earth allows a time travel through the history of communication from its beginning to the digital age. The orchestral soundtrack for this attraction (composed by Bruce Broughton) consists of several one-minute music loops. Some of them are musically synchronized, running at the same tempo and using the same chords but variations on the main theme and new countermelodies/arrangements. This allows to capture the dynamic and spirit of the scenes the ride vehicles are passing.

After exiting the planetarium dome the vehicles start to descend back to the ground floor - the epic music gets calmer while riders are invited to "create their future" and answering multiple-choice questions on the display in front of them.
The music of this part of the ride was not released officially, we did a new recording of this soothing instrumental waltz. When the "Welcome to your future"-videos are played back on the displays the music transitions into another loop that is musically linked to the descent music, but has a more playful arrangement / orchestration.
