Did you know that foraging bees must collect nectar from roughly two million flowers to make just a pound of honey? Or that they perform something called the ‘waggle dance’ when they return to the hive, to indicate to their fellow workers where they have been? 

 We recently joined beekeeper Rebecca Beveridge for a day and learnt all about these most remarkable creatures.
