For this Build: This Elden Ring Build is centered around the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana, a Quality Somber Great Katana. Being a Great Katana, it shares all the favorable qualities of the Great Katana moveset: a nice mixture of slashes and stabs and good stance damage. As I've said before, the Great Katana class feels like a hybrid of the Curved Greatsword and Katana. Generally, I find the moveset pretty good, neither the best nor the worst in Elden Ring. But to talk on the unique qualities of the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana, it does do bonus damage to Dragons (15% more to Ancient Dragons and 30% more to Regular Dragons). And being a Quality weapon, it scales well in both Strength and Dexterity with a C in both and a scaling value of 66. Turns out, this weapon will be 4 points better in Damage if you go 60 Dexterity over 55 Strength, but that's hardly a real difference. Frankly, this weapon is kind of like the Bloodhound's Fang where speccing into any amount of Strength or Dexterity is generally fine.

The main attraction of this weapon is the Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana unique skill, Dragonwound Slash, where the player leaps into the air, building energy with their blade before slashing downward. The uncharged version is pretty mid, however, the charged version is very good as it turns the skill into a close to mid-range projectile with solid hyperarmor and good stance damage. To build around it, I would definitely recommend Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon. From there, tallismans that led themselves to the Great Katana's base moveset like Two-Handed Sword, Axe and Blade of Mercy are always safe bets. This build is pretty straightforward if I do say so myself.

Flex 3. Blade of Mercy: Increases attack power by 20% for 20 seconds after landing a critical attack
Flex 4. Two-Headed Turtle: Greatly Increases Stamina Regen

Physick:
1. Spiked Cracked Tear: Increases the power of charged heavy attacks by 15% for 3 minutes
2. Stonebarb Cracked Tear: Increases stance damage dealt by 30% for 30 seconds

Drip: Rakshasa's Helm, Drake Knight Armor, Malformed Dragon Gauntlets, Rakshasa's Greaves
