In this video, I show how we can use the type checking and type casting strategies to validate the input to a function. In the example, we see how the factorial() function does not work when called with arguments like -1 or 3.1, which both result in a RecursionError. We also learn how we can raise our own custom error messages and what a Pythonista means with the term duck typing.
