IKEA Billy Bookcase Hack: Custom Built-In Library Wall | DIY with Closed Storage & LED Lighting

Описание к видео IKEA Billy Bookcase Hack: Custom Built-In Library Wall | DIY with Closed Storage & LED Lighting

In this video, I’m transforming IKEA Billy Bookcases into a custom built-in library wall, complete with both open and closed storage and under-shelf LED lighting! Inspired by a stunning design from Park & Oak, I’ve adapted their cozy, sophisticated look to fit the limitations of IKEA furniture, bringing a high-end aesthetic into this space.

Using Sherwin Williams' Rojo Marron for the shelves and Creamy for the trim and Oxberg doors, this project reflects the warm, outdoor-inspired palette I envisioned. For the bottom, I’ve created closed storage with IKEA Oxberg doors and used paint to create the effect of a built-in counter, adding beautiful hardware sourced from Etsy to complete the look.

Join me as I guide you through every step, from painting and trim work to installing LED lighting, and even dealing with a recent setback (which you might’ve seen in my recent vlogs). This DIY built-in library wall is perfect for anyone looking to elevate their space with an affordable yet stylish solution.
