So what’s Rebo all about?

The Bottle

Rebo’s smart bottle pairs with an app that creates a customized hydration plan according to your physical characteristics and updates it throughout your day by integrating with Apple Health and Google Fit. For example, if you go for a run, the app will tell you to drink an additional X amount of water to compensate for the dehydration associated with your run. That IS a smart bottle.

REBO Bottles Smart Cap, also tracks your water intake, reminds you to drink via in-app notifications and blinking LED, and even measures how much water is in the bottle which you can view right in REBO’s app.So, what happens when you run out of water and are already out? Well, the Rebo app can help you find the nearest fountain with more than 230,000 fountains mapped. This is some serious space-aged futuristic hydration technology, people!

Now, this is where things get pretty wild. For every filled REBO bottle you drink, one plastic water bottle is collected. So, a plastic water bottle is collected for every 20 oz or 600ml of water you drink. So if you drink 80 oz in a day, that’s 4 water bottles collected for the day and 28 collected for the week! 

Wait, but how does THAT work?

How it works is that the data from the app enables REBO to register the plastic savings, monetize it through corporate sponsors, and then fund the collection of plastic waste through their partner Parley for the Oceans.
