Mumbai Metro Car Shed Row: It has once again become a focal point for a political battle between the Mahaghadi Government in Maharashtra and the BJP. The Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade that comes under the Government of India has written to the Maharashtra Government directing them to restrain the MMRDA from developing the metro car shed at Mumbai's Kanjurmarg.

Recently, the construction of car shed was moved from Aarey Colony to Kanjurmarg by the state government. The letter further states that the decision to use Kanjurmarg salt pan is unilateral and improper against the interest of GOI.
