BC Bike Race 2023 STAGE 2 - MOUNT TZOUHALEM

Well it was a tough day for me today with my body not working properly and the back and neck pain creeping in. A long climb and lots of it didn't help matters. I survived however to live another day.

Starting on the clock from Basecamp, racers set off on an exhilarating ride through Mount Richards and exclusive farmland that's specially opened up for this event. The trail leads us up "A Grand Traverse" on Mount Tzouhalem, where we're surrounded by the beauty of Arbutus-covered ridgeline trails, including Field of Dreams and Rocky Mountain Ridge. It's a true feast for the senses! 🌳✨
After the last descent, everyone enjoyed a short neutral ride back to Basecamp, where we celebrated our first true day of racing with fellow riders. The camaraderie and excitement are infectious! 🏞️🔥
