FLC SOP Explainer (for TRADOC only) | AUG IDT 2023 | OCS Phase II | Class 91 | MAARNG

This is the Fighting Load Carrier (FLC, pronounced "flick").

This SOP is for Officer Candidate School, where our mission is typically "double time to the classroom for some POI" and our time in the field doesn't entail CQB. No sidearm, no knives, no admin panels (aside from the mesh pockets on the inside of the vest).

This SOP applied only to AUG IDT 2023 and was changed shortly after posting this video (the spaces used by the canteen pouches were adjusted to 2 spaces instead of 3, to accommodate some OCs' ability to comfortably don the rucksack and not have it interfere with canteen access).

Yes, I know I mispronounced "bowline."
