According to Hindu Mythology, there are 8 Immortals (Chiranjeevi). They are Lord Hanuman, Ved Vyas, Lord Parashuram, King Mahabali, Vibishan, Aswathaman, Sage Kripacharya and Markandeya.

Markandeya is the youngest of the Immortals blessed by Lord Shiva. Sadhana Sharma, age 11, has retold the story of how Markandeya became immortal.

Our aim is to bring faded scripts and scriptures to limelight with the help of enthusiastic young minds. Hope our initiative inspires our modern generation to preserve and carry our traditions forward.
