The new musical ensemble are here performing as a quartet, without the benefit of a piano, to match the conditions as they played on Titanic's starboard-side Boat Deck moments before the final plunge.

Historical note: The title card for the song itself (and thus the selected video cover thumbnail) does contain a mis-spelling of Propior Deo. We chose to retain is exactly as it was presented to us for this video, but we did want to make sure to add a 'footnote' on the proper spelling.

Historical note: It was Wallace Hartley's father who introduced 'Nearer My God to Thee' to their congregation, not Wallace Hartley himself. This is, however, why Hartley had such an affinity for the Propior Deo version of the hymn throughout his life.
