These are the best Line 6 Pod Go tones I've ever heard | Michael Britt “Up and Running” pack!

Описание к видео These are the best Line 6 Pod Go tones I've ever heard | Michael Britt “Up and Running” pack!

I’ve had a Line 6 Pod Go for a number of months now, and it’s awesome: for the money, it’s basically a complete rig, with hundreds of amps, cabs, pedals, and tweaking options all in one box.

However, despite its amazing versatility, I’ve still not quite managed to get the Pod Go sounding as good as I want it – or as good as my analog amp and pedals. I found myself tweaking extensively and still not being happy with my own efforts.

So, I bit the bullet and bought some presets! I chose the Michael Britt Up and Running
pack: https://mbritt.com/product/pod-go-up-...

Michael Britt is the lead guitarist in the band Lonestar, and he’s also renowned for making excellent presets and patches for the likes of the Kemper Profiler and the Line 6 Helix range, as well as the Pod Go.

After parting with my $15, I received the 15 presets (each comes with 4 snapshots for extra options) and loaded them up… and safe to say I was amazed at the results! As well as being an excellent tone tweaker, Michael Britt also delivers three of his own custom-made IRs with the pack. Designed to work perfectly with the Britt patches, they have given me sounds with the Pod Go that I was never able to get despite hours and hours of trying!

In this video, I showcase some of my favorite presets from the Up and Running pack, using my Epiphone Les Paul to demo some pop, folk, country, ambient, rock, indie, punk and metal sounds.

Here are some links to the various playing samples and info bits:

My setup was as follows: I ran the Pod Go straight into my Mac and Logic Pro X… that’s it! No post-processing on any of the sounds was done.

Enjoy!
