A very common problem on older Mercedes is a failed heater control valve, which stops the heater from blowing hot air. In this video, I narrow down the problem to this mechanism, and attempt to replace it.

The job is way harder than it needs to be because I start off with the wrong tools. In the process, I am not careful at one point while I'm laying on the engine, and I destroy a very expensive part of the car.

At least the heater is working now.
