How To Start 2019 - 2022 GMC Sierra With Dead Key Fob Battery Showing NO REMOTE DETECTED

A quick video tutorial on how to start a 2019 - 2022 GM Sierra with a remote key fob that has a dead battery or is showing the error message "No Remote Detected".

According to the GMC Sierra owners manual, If the remote key fob battery is weak the DIC may display ACTION REQUIRED NO REMOTE DETECTED or PLACE TRANSMITTER IN POCKET TO START when you try to start the Sierra. The DIC may also display REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY and the traverse won't start.

To start A GMC Sierra showing No Remote Detected:
1. Open the center console and place the bad or dead remote key fob in the transmitter pocket with the buttons facing the Roof of the GMC Sierra.
2. Press the brake pedal and press ENGINE START/STOP.
