Tim McCoy stars as "Silent" Tim Smith in this B western made in Arizona in late 1939. Sam Newfield directs under the alias Peter Stewart. One of the first films made by Producers Releasing Corp., known at the time as Producers Pictures Corp., their distribution arm called Producers Distributing Corp. Texas Renegades pretty much disappeared from television distribution after the 1950s, so prints of the film are rare. This one appears to be from 16mm, archived on VHS. Co-stars Nora Lane, Kenneth (Kenne) Duncan, Lee Prather, Harry Harvey, and Earl Gunn.
