Q: I identified a plot of land in Kasauli and I intend to buy it. I am employed in an MNC. Can I get a home loan to buy land?

Answer: There are land loan available instead of home loan to buy a land. Although land loans are a tat more expensive than the home loan, you can get one and afterwards if you plan to build a house on it, you can get a home loan for it.
