Former inspector-general of police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain has channelled RM30,000 he received from his legal action against blogger Papagomo to the Police Autism Centre at Pulapol here.

Speaking after handing over a mock-cheque and goodie bags to children at the centre, Razarudin said much of the effort to keep the centre running happens behind the scenes.

Officers and volunteers work to ensure the children receive care despite high operating costs.

He said the RM30,000 would support the centre's operations, which rely on donations and have substantial monthly costs.
