Prayer

Father God,

We come before You now with open hands and open hearts. Not to ask for what we don't have, but to receive what You have already promised. For thousands of years, You have been speaking blessing over Your people—and today, we believe that blessing is for us.

Lord, we receive Your blessing. We receive Your keeping. We are so fragile, so easily shaken, so quick to forget that we are held. But You never let go. You keep us. You guard us. You hold us secure in hands that cannot be opened.

We receive the light of Your face. In a world that often feels dark, shine on us. Let the warmth of Your presence melt every fear, every doubt, every lie that has taken root in our hearts. Let us live in the sunlight of Your love.

We receive Your grace—unearned, undeserved, but freely given. Forgive us for trying to earn what You have already gifted. Teach us to live in the freedom of being fully known and fully loved.

We receive Your peace. Not the fragile peace of circumstances, but the deep, unshakable peace that comes from knowing we are Yours. Peace that passes understanding. Peace that stands firm when everything around us crumbles.

Lord, we declare that Your favor rests upon us—not just for today, but for a thousand generations. We lift up our children, and our children's children, and we ask that Your blessing would follow them all the days of their lives. May they know the God we love. May they walk in the light of Your face.

We thank You that Your presence goes before us—into every meeting, every conversation, every unknown tomorrow. You are already there, preparing the way. You are behind us, covering our past with mercy. You are beside us, walking with us through every valley. You are all around us, a shield of protection. You are within us, the hope of glory.

In the morning, when we wake with weary eyes—You are with us. In the evening, when we lay down our burdens—You are with us. In our coming and our going, in our weeping and our rejoicing—through it all, through EVERYTHING—You are for us.

Not against us. Not distant. Not disappointed. FOR us.

So we sing Amen. Let it be so. Let every promise be yes and amen over our lives. We trust You. We receive from You. We rest in You.
