Most of the time, presenters are only given one short session in which they need to impart essential information literacy skills to the audience. On top of that, presenters are tasked with quickly building a relationship with their audience so they know they can use the library if they ever need help. Storytelling is the most effective way to accomplish both of these tasks. In this presentation, I will discuss the importance of storytelling in quickly developing that relationship with our audience. Attendees will also learn how to build and use their own stories effectively in their sessions.
