As June ended and July is ongoing, Tesla China is ramping up new record sales. With this, Tesla China is expected to take over and is considered to be better than Tesla USA. Stay tuned until the end to bring you the latest Tesla China update.
A Twitter user named Moneyball has been watching Tesla's Shanghai factory and the ramp they're doing after being locked down since June, and a fast ramp, too. During the period from the 13th to the 19th of June, 17,949 Tesla made in China units were insured. This amounts to 2,564 units a day. Adding together all the numbers for the first 19 days of June, there should be over 46,000 units sold in 19 days. Then we would have about 74,000 units if we took the 2564 units for the last 11 days of the month. Elon was talking about 71,000 units as their goal, which would've been a record.
